Toot sweet: L’il Rev and his talking harmonica at Acoustic Getaway

Who knew there is an orchestra inside a $10 slab of tin?

At least there is when the tin is in the hands of L’il Rev, Milwaukee’s self-styled King of the Nursing Homes.

L’il Rev was a favorite at last weekend’s Acoustic Getaway, where he gave an exuberant performance after leading workshops for ukulele and harmonica. The guy plays a mean guitar, banjo and mandolin, too.
