Better late than never.  The weather has cleared enough for the Wings of Freedom tour to land at Morristown Municipal Airport today, Oct. 2, 2014.

The restored B-17 and B-24 bombers and P-51 Mustang should touch down around 1 pm, according to Hunter Chaney of the Collings Foundation.

The planes had been scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. They are supposed to stay through noontime on Friday, Oct. 3.  Information about tours and rides is here.
