Which Revolutionary War-era notable person has a statue in Morristown’s Burnham Park?

Answer that question correctly, and you could win a free ticket to this Saturday’s 11 am walking tour through Morristown with Seeing Eye President Jim Kutsch and his wife, Ginger, a volunteer at the guide dog training school.

A second Seeing Eye walking tour is planned for Sept. 20, 2014, at 1 pm.

Downtown Morristown has been a training area for the Morris Township school for decades; these walks will share the history of this vital relationship.

The tourism bureau walking tour series continues on Oct. 4 at 10 am with a tour of the Whippany Burying Ground and First Presbyterian Church.

On Oct. 11 at 10 am, retired Judge Kenneth MacKenzie revisits the gruesome Crime of the (19th) Century in Morristown.

Just in time for Halloween, Carol Barkin of the tourism bureau will lead tours of Morristown’s oldest graveyard. Bones and Stones: Who’s Buried at the Presbyterian Church?  is scheduled for  3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m on Oct. 18, and again at those same times on Oct. 26.
