The folks at Grow It Green Morristown say their annual Alfresco at the Farm fundraiser picnic is still on for 4 pm today, Sept. 13, 2014, despite a wet forecast.
A tent will be set up at the Urban Farm at Lafayette, 31 Hazel St., behind the Lafayette Learning Center in Morristown.
“Please bring an umbrella and a sense of humor,” the Founding Mothers advise. Also, shoes or boots that shed water.
The nonprofit is celebrating its fifth year of growing community, one garden plot at a time.
Only if there is thunder will Saturday’s event be called off. Safety first!
