Morristown man indicted on attempted murder, robbery charges

Brandon Johnson, 23, of Morristown has been indicted on charges of attempted murder and robbery in connection with a Jan. 31, 2014, shooting incident on Lincoln Street, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Morristown Police Chief Pete Demnitz announced on Friday.

Johnson was indicted Thursday on one count of First Degree Attempted Murder; two counts of First Degree Robbery, one count of Fourth Degree Conspiracy to Possess CDS, one count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and other weapons charges.

Assistant Prosecutor Sahil Kabse is prosecuting the case. Prosecutor Knapp thanked the Morristown police and his own major crimes unit for nailing down the indictment.
