In weather, as in music, timing is everything.
We’re told the Moonlighters have no trouble keeping a beat. It’s timing the forecast that gives the swing band trouble.
The 6:30 concert scheduled for Ginty Field tonight, Aug. 12, 2014, has been canceled for the second and apparently, final, time this summer. No makeup date, according to Bill Foelsch of the Morris Township Parks and Recreation Department.

On Saturday, Aug. 23, it’s the animated comedy classic Despicable Me 2. It’s also the night of the park /rec department’s third annual Family Camp-Out Night at Ginty Field. The camping fee is $10.
Saturday, Oct. 25: Just in time for Halloween, it’s the 1985 adventure-comedy classic The Goonies.
