Morristown Jazz & Blues Fest gets grant from Jersey Central

The Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival is a high-energy affair. And it’s just gotten some turbo-charging from Jersey Central Power & Light’s  parent company, FirstEnergy, which has made a $5,000 grant to the Morristown Partnership to support the show on Aug. 16, 2014.

The day also will feature jazz guitar stars Bucky Pizzarelli and Frank Vignola; the Trio da Paz Brazilian ensemble; jazz drummer Winard Harper; and South Jersey’s Mikey Junior.

They will mark the fourth anniversary of the festival, started by Mayor Tim Dougherty.
