The Moonlighters will do their best to blow the roof off the Ginty Field gazebo in Morris Township on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, with big band sounds from all the greats.

MOONLIGHTERS ORCHESTRA BRING BIG BAND SOUNDS TO MORRIS TOWNSHIP’S GINTY FIELD GAZEBO
The Township of Morris Department of Parks and Recreation is presenting The Moonlighters Swing
Orchestra at the Ginty Field Gazebo on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The Moonlighters Orchestra is composed of 14 talented musicians with an instinctive feeling for a delightfully swinging big band style. The band has been in existence for over 30 years, playing concerts, dances, weddings and private parties in hotels, country clubs, and restaurants in the greater New York – New Jersey metropolitan area.
The Moonlighters repertoire includes arrangements as played by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman as well as more current selections. The band has also expanded their musical outlook so old favorites have become new again. A great deal of their varied repertoire also features vocalists singing many great standards. What always makes the Moonlighters unique is that the musicians truly enjoy what they are doing and generate an exciting rapport with the audience.
