Train service knocked out between Dover and Madison

Friday afternoon’s thunderstorms have knocked out rail service in both directions between Dover and Madison on the Morris & Essex Line, according to NJ Transit.

Buses are operating between Madison and Dover. Customers going to Denville/Dover can use Montclair-Boonton Line trains from Hoboken, the transit agency says.

Repairs are expected to continue overnight.
