Only on MG: A love song for Wile E. Coyote

Here at, we pride ourselves on eclectic offerings. Where else could you find a love song for Wile E. Coyote?

The ever-cheery Zoe Mulford served up this catchy creation, Coyote Wings, with nimble glockenspieling by Brad Yoder, at The Minstrel in Morris Township last week.

Zoe explained that the song was inspired by friends seeking approvals for bird-brained schemes…like a certain cartoon consumer of ACME pest control products.

You gotta love a composer who can follow a tune like this with uplifting numbers like Life’s Too Short for Folding Underwear.

Note: The Minstrel stage will be dark on Friday, May 23, 2014, for the Folk Project Acoustic Getaway in the woods near Hackettstown. Performers include Frank Vignola, Julie Gold, David Massengill and Victoria Vox. A few three-day passes remain; they are priced around $200 and include food, lodging and workshops.
