College of Saint Elizabeth announces Heidi J. Sorvino as commencement speaker

The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE) is honored that Heidi J. Sorvino,  a well-regarded lawyer with the firm of Hodgson Russ, New York, N.Y., will deliver the commencement address to the graduates of the Class of 2014.

resizedgradgirlsThe College’s 112th commencement will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014, starting at 10 a.m. on the campus grounds in Morris Township.

The College will award Sorvino a Doctor of Laws Degree, Honoris Causa, for her commitment to the practice of law and promoting women as full partners in the workplace.

The title of her address will be The Five F’s to Live By – Faith, Family, Friends, Fortitude and Fun.

The College also will bestow a Doctor of Humane Letters Degree, Honoris Causa, posthumously upon Sister Regina Martin Keane, SC, in recognition of her significant contributions to the advancement and support of education. She was a well-known educator in the state, having served as principal of Mother Seton High School in Clark, N.J., since 1975.
