This year for Holy Week, The Presbyterian Church in Morristown (PCM) is offering a service on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and two services on Easter at the Church on the Green, 57 East Park Place, Morristown. We invite you to attend any of these services and experience PCM’s fresh traditional® approach to worship.
On Palm Sunday, April 13, the children lead a palm processional at the start of the service (10 am) into the sanctuary. The Tower middle school ringers and singers provide the music. A brief Time for Children is offered in addition to Rev. Dr. David Smazik’s sermon, “Triumph and Humiliation.”
On Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 8 pm, Rev Dr. David Lawrence leads a service commemorating the Last Supper of our Lord. Please join us for Communion. On Good Friday, April 18 at 8 pm , Rev. Smazik leads a Tenebrae service of darkness and light.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, join us at 9:15 am or 11 am in celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus with a banner procession and all children’s, youth and adult choral ensembles, brass and percussion.
