Grow It Green Morristown is throwing a party. Surely, that means spring is on the way!
The nonprofit’s second annual fundraising gala, dubbed Diamonds for Kale, is scheduled for April 5, 2014, at the Kellogg Club in Morristown at 7 pm.
Food will be catered by the End of Elm, with the Artist Baker supplying dessert, Cambridge Wines scootering over the wine and Farmer Shaun brewing the beer. A deejay, photo booth and silent auction also are planned.
Tickets are $125 and proceeds help support Grow It Green’s stewardship of the Early Street Community Garden and the Urban Farm at Lafayette, the site of more than 2,500 school children visits and 160 classes last year. Grow It Green also donated more than a ton of produce to families in need.
