Turns out March did not quite roar in with polar bear ferocity as anticipated. But vigorous plans are proceeding to reschedule things for March 24, 2014, as we hear from the Rotary’s P.J. Thurkauf from the Morristown U.P.S. store:
The Taste of Morristown has been POSTPONED until March 24th, 2014.
Due to the published threat of a major snowstorm on our original date, and for the safety of our Rotarians, Guests, Restaurateurs, and Providers we have postponed our annual Taste of Morristown with a rescheduled date of March 24, 2014. As it turns out, the weather has missed us, but the logistics of an event such as ours required us to make a decision based on the best information available by 5pm on Friday.
All tickets for the original March 3rd event will be honored on the rescheduled date. The event will still be held at the Hanover Marriott, and we sincerely thank the Marriott for their flexibility in accommodating the change.
If you purchased tickets for the event and cannot attend the new date a refund can be arranged. Please send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions.
We are currently working to reschedule all our participating restaurants and wine tasting vendors and are hopeful that all will be able to attend on our new date. The “Event Participants” page of our website, tasteofmorristown.org, will be updated if any changes do occur.
The Rotary Club of Morristown apologizes for any inconvenience and sincerely hopes you’ll join us on March 24th at A Taste of Morristown. We look forward to seeing you. — P.J. Thurkauf
