Correction: An earlier posting here suggested that an official school statement was at odds with a police report about the timing of arrests made after an altercation last month at Morristown High School.
The story was based on a police report that was inaccurate. The report listed two arrests as being made on the day of the altercation, Feb. 19, 2014; the arrests actually were made on Feb. 25, said Police Lt. Stuart Greer, acknowledging a record-keeping discrepancy.
Morristown High School Principal Mark Manning’s announcement to students on Feb. 20, stating that nobody was arrested, was accurate at that time.
MorristownGreen.com regrets the confusion over this.
