Motorists must remove their vehicles from these Morristown streets by 7 am on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, for snow removal, Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office announced on Tuesday:
- Lincoln Street
- Lakeside Place
- Pocahontas Street
- Logan Place
- Hazel Street (from Liberty Street to School)
- Speedwell Place
And with another snowstorm forecast for Thursday, the Morristown Parking Authority once again will open its garages for free to residents, so snow plows can do their work unimpeded.
The free period extends from Wednesday, Feb. 12, at noon, through noon on Friday, Feb. 14. Residents should show their drivers’ licenses as proof of residency to have fees waived. The garages:
- Dalton Parking Garage (Cattano Avenue)
- Ann/ Bank Parking Garage
- DeHart Garage
- Vail Parking Deck (Access from South Street)
Eight- to 10 inches of snow are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
