Maybe Arctic explorers should start coming to Morristown to study polar conditions.
Instead, one of them will speak here on Feb. 11, 2014, about his research in Alaska.
Mendham High School teacher Bruce Taterka studied climate change in Alaska’s melting permafrost last summer, as one of 16 PolarTREC teachers chosen nationwide to study in the Arctic.
He will describe his adventures at 7 pm in the Morristown & Morris Township Library. Refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
The talk is part of Sustainable Morristown’s “Show Some Love for Mother Earth Week.”
