Yes, those are icicles dangling from the Dain Shoppe sign.

And that’s a snowman guarding C’est Cheese.

And a frozen–we won’t say it–is streaming from General Washington’s bronzed nostrils.

In other words, downtown Morristown is a sloppy, slippery mess at lunchtime on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.

We would like to thank the Good Samaritan who is donating knitted caps to our statues and snowmen.  This weather is tough on them, and they certainly look appreciative, even if they are too proud to say so.

Now that we have documented winter in all its picturesque incarnations, it’s time to move on.
