One of the victims of Sunday’s Groundhog Day prediction (six more weeks of winter) is the annual GroundHog Day Jam, scheduled for tonight, Feb. 3, 2014, at the Bickford Theatre in Morris Township.
The snowstorm as forced the show’s cancellation.
Organizers say it will be rescheduled as soon as trombonist Herb Gardner’s Grand Menagerie—Randy Reinhart (cornet), Joe Licari (clarinet), James Chirillo (guitar), Mike Weatherly (bass), Robbie Scott (drums) and Sarah Gardner (vocals)–can be rounded up again.
The snow also has prompted Drew University to move Monday’s performance, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center – Pianos in Paris, to Thursday, Feb.6, 2014, at the university concert hall, at 36 Madison Ave. in Madison. Tickets are $55. From the Chamber Music Society:
