Humans have been seeking the formula for perfect parenting since parenting began.
Teen: “Dad, can I borrow the yak tonight? I have a date.”
Father: “Make sure you’re back at the cave before the moon sets…and that you return the yak with a full belly!”
At long last, all may be revealed. Child psychiatrist Edward Hallowell, author of The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness, will share tips for how parents can promote “successful learning and lifelong happiness in their children,” at Morristown High School on Jan. 22, 2014.
He will speak in the auditorium at 7 pm. Admission is free, courtesy of the Morris Educational Foundation and the Morristown Rotary Fund for Parent Education.
Guests are encouraged to register online; questions may be submitted to the New York Times bestselling author during registration.
