Actually, the Super Santa 5K was in the black, with enough left over to donate $1250 to the Children’s Tumor Foundation and another $500 to the Morristown High School Marching Band, said race organizer Chris Russo of Super Hero Events.
The top three male finishers were Taylor Roberts, 25, of Morristown; Cyril Measson, 39, of New Providence; and Timothy Murphy, 31, of Morristown. Their times were 16:30, 17:06 and 17.27, respectively.
For the ladies, the top three were: Lia Bella, 28, of Morristown; Karen Auteri, 32, of Bloomingdale; and Amy Swiatecki, 31, of Chatham. Their times: 19:10, 19:30 and 21:02.
