Nick Vena, the gentle giant who hurled the shot more than 70 feet an astonishing 96 times during his MHS career, is a second-team All-American at the University of Georgia, where he is a junior.

Nick transferred there  from Virginia after his freshman year.

Our thanks to Jake Goldberg of Morristown High’s Colonial Corner, who caught up with Nick in this video.
