Video: Preview of the 2013-14 Morristown High basketball season

Morristown High School basketball fans have plenty to look forward to when this season starts on Dec. 20, 2013, at home against Roxbury.

The Colonials won 18 games last year en route to a conference championship and a berth in the state semi-finals. For his efforts, Billy Connolly was named Boys Basketball Coach of the Year by the Daily Record.

Nine seniors are on Coach Connolly’s roster for the new season. Familiar names include AJ Tracey, a mainstay of the football team; Zach Certner, who runs a children’s charity called SNAP off the court; and Eric Demnitz.

They will be led by team captain Sean Hoehn, an All-Conference star.  In this video, Sean tells MHS student Skyler Frost of Colonial Corner Sports how he feels about playing ball with his kid brother. Skyler gets the inside scoop on the rest of varsity, too.
