As of just before 4 pm today, Dec. 6, 2013, Morristown police were reporting traffic backups caused by a crash on Route 287 in Hanover.
Emergency road work by the state Department of Transportation is necessary, and it’s causing “significant traffic delays” throughout Morristown as motorists try to avoid the highway.
No estimate yet on when repairs will be completed.
