Sunday’s Hunger Walk in Morristown raised $94,000 for the Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center, and organizers say they are confident the final tally will top the nonprofit’s goal of $100,000.
“The outrageously beautiful weather helped with our largest turnout ever. There were approximately 1,000 walkers,” said soup kitchen spokeswoman Julie Hess.
