Heavy rain has hit Morristown just before 3 pm, ahead of severe thunderstorms predicted for around 3:40 pm, Oct. 7, 2013, by News12.
The storms are barreling in from Pennsylvania at about 35 mph and may pack heavy downpours and wind gusts of 50 mph.
A tornado watch remains in effect for New Jersey through 5 pm.
