For a modest sum on Saturday, you can enjoy everything from Bach to Rock, with generous helpings of traditional Irish music and tasty treats–all while supporting Africa Surgery Inc.
It all happens at 8 pm on Oct. 5, 2013, at Assumption Church in Morristown.
Africa Surgery Inc. is a nonprofit that provides desperately needed surgical care to people in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
The Dicey Riley Band and Friends will entertain with traditional Irish and Celtic tunes. The Randolph High School orchestra, under the direction of Eric Schaberg, and the Randolph High School Chamber Choir, under the direction of Matt Swiss, will perform eclectic musical works from Bach to Rock.
Refreshments are courtesy of Assumption parishioners and the Main Event by Melody.
Suggested donation: Adults $10, children free. All proceeds go directly to surgical care for indigent farmers and villagers in Sierra Leone. The church is at 91 Maple Ave.
