Exercise your passion for art this weekend.
Morristown’s second annual Art Walk, featuring the work of more than 70 artists, will span a dozen venues on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, from noon to 5 p.m.
The event matches the interests of artists and art lovers. “People want to see more local art events, and artists want to share their passions with the public,” said artist and Art Walk organizer Julie Friedman of ArtSpace Studio.
Events like the Art Walk enrich the local economy by supporting local artists and businesses, said Kadie Dempsey, Morris Arts director of Arts in the Community.
“This helps to create a more interesting and exciting downtown area.”
Maps will be available at all locations hosting artists, and locations will be clearly marked with balloons and signs. The venues are:
