Rob Paparozzi  told us last week that he loves the harmonica because it’s like an extension of his head.

Rob, a terrific showman, gave a full-throttle performance at Saturday’s Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival.

The former frontman for Blood, Sweat and Tears was backed by the Hudson River Rats, an extremely capable bunch who included Yankee Stadium organist Ed Alstrom on keyboard and guitar.

You can thank Mayor Tim Dougherty for this one– he enjoyed last year’s set so much that he insisted on inviting Rob back for 2013.  Good call.
