FLASH!!! A 15-foot-long Tyrannosaurus got loose on the lawn of the Morristown & Township Library on Monday, menacing small children and terrorizing grownups to pay their overdue book fines.
The prehistoric predator eventually was captured and returned to Field Station: Dinosaurs, a 20-acre animatronic preserve in a remote region of Outer Secaucus.
MG Photographer Scott Schlosser and library Assistant Director Chad Leinaweaver (Monday’s videographer) captured the drama for us.
We’re trying to determine if there is any truth to the rumor that T-Rex will be towing the Bookmobile down South Street in next year’s St. Patrick’s Parade.
