Stay cool  today by watching other people work up a sweat.

The Japanese drumming ensemble Taikoza is sure to do the latter at 12:30 this afternoon, July 9, 2013, during a free Music Beyond Borders concert on the Morristown Green.

Here is a sampling of what this troupe can do, from a 2010 appearance in Morristown:

The concert will run for about 45 minutes.  It’s the second in the summer series, which is a joint offering of Morris Arts and the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

Music Beyond Borders continues on July 23 with the Argentine Tango Dancers. On Aug. 6, the Didge Project introduces exotic sounds of the aboriginal didgeridoo from Australia.
