Services of healing and wholeness at Morristown’s Presbyterian Church, Jan. 29

On Sunday, January 29, 2012, the Presbyterian Church in Morristown will offer special Healing and Wholeness Services in the Sanctuary of the Church on the Green at 9:15 and 11:00 am. These services will be led by Head Pastor, Rev. Dr. David Smazik and Director of Music, Dr. Charity Wicks.
This service focusing on “Healing and Wholeness” will be led by Rev. Smazik with music by the Ringers-on-the-Green, Cantate Omnes and the Chancel Choir. Rev. Smazik will deliver the sermon, “Being Amazed” with the scripture from Mark 1:21-28. Congregational caregivers from the Deacons and Stephen Ministers participate with a special time for anointing with oil and personal prayers requests. Please invite friends, family and neighbors who may benefit from a focus on healing prayers and wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
Sample Prayer for the Sick: Lord of all health, you are the source of our life and our fulfillment in death. Be for (name of loved one) now comfort in the midst of pain, strength to transform weakness, and light to brighten the darkness, through Christ our Lord. Amen
