Need a shot of something stimulating to get through a January afternoon? How about Chopin’s Scherzo No. 4 in E major, courtesy of Andrew Rosenblum?
Andrew, 24, put on quite a show at First Night Morris County on New Year’s Eve. In his preamble, he explained that this Chopin composition delivers a wide range of emotions, creating a musical sketch of life.
Andrew is a Maryland native who began playing piano at age 5. He studied at Yale and transferred to the California Institute for the Arts, earning a BFA in piano performance. Grad school is in his future, but he’s been enjoying some freelancing first.
